Lily Allen has written one of the most anticipated albums of 2009. 'It's Not Me, It's You' will unfold the truth.

Lily Allen has come a long way from the over night success via her Myspace page. Her blunt lyrics and pop melodies featured on her debut album 'Alright Still' have gained the British singer/song writer popularity worldwide.

'It's Not Me, It's You' strays from the sound on 'Alright Still' without being untrue to who Lily Allen is as a song writer.

She has become a better song writer and has created a masterpiece.

Only The Truth

The truth cannot escape from Lily Allen. Several tracks on this album speak of lies, untold truths, and problems that our society faces.

The album opener 'Everyone's At It' is about people being unable to accept the fact that they are drug addicts. This track is rich with synth melodies and catchy lyrics. Some people look away when others do bad things, Lily Allen will gladly write a song about those bad things. Lily sings : 'How can we tackle the problem, if you don't admit that you're on them?'

Aside from being the single off the album, 'The Fear' is about problem that are faced in society. 'I'll take my clothes off and it will be shameless 'cause everyone knows that's how you get famous', are some of the lyrics that can be found on 'The Fear'. This song has currently reached number one in the UK charts.

'Him' is one of the slower songs on the album and talks about God. It talks about the misconception some people still have about God preferring the Caucasian race and such topics.

Stays True To Her Style

Lily Allen is known for writing songs that are honest. This album features the same kind of writing style.

'Not Fair' is about a relationship she has that seems perfect until she realizes that the guy is bad in bed. The introduction has a western melody but builds into a poppy beat that is easy to sing to.

'Never Gonna Happen' opens with a French melody and talks about a guy who keeps calling and harassing her and is letting him know that she no longer wants anything to do with him. It's humorous and something everyone can relate to, at the same time.

Entertaining And Catchy

This album is different from 'Alright Still' but still feels like Lily Allen. Many artists lose themselves when writing a highly anticipated sophomore album, but not Lily. 'It's Not Me, It's You' will be released February 10, 2009 and will be at a special low price the first week of it's release.

Highly recommended tracks: 'I Could Say', 'Never Gonna Happen', 'Not Fair' and 'Chinese'.
